The A.P.Moller – Maersk Group

The work that was started by Mr. A.P. Møller in 1904 has developed into a major international enterprise with activities covering diverse areas such as shipping, oil drilling, shipbuilding, aviation, industry and retail.

Operating one of the largest liner shipping companies in the world, the Group owns more than 250 ships and its shipping activities cover transportation of crude oil, refined products and liquefied gases, support to the offshore oil industry and operation of drilling rigs as well as ship broking activities, European scheduled airline services and charter airline operations, Dansk Supermarked A/S, which is Denmark’s second largest chain of food and general merchandise stores

Over the years, the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group has engaged itself in a diversity of industrial activities. These activities include among others building of some of the world's most technologically advanced ships and production of parts to the car industry.

A.P. Moller Singapore is the ship owning arm of the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group in Singapore.
