The A.P.Moller – Maersk Group

A.P. Moller Singapore Pte. Ltd. is the Singapore-based shipowning arm of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, one of the world's largest liner shipping companies.

The A.P. Moller - Maersk Group is a worldwide conglomerate, operating in some 130 countries and having a workforce of some 115,000 employees. In addition to owning one of the world’s largest shipping companies, the Group is involved in a wide range of activities in the energy, logistics, retail and manufacturing industries.

A.P. Moller Singapore has grown from its beginnings in 1978 with just two ships, the container feeder vessels Maersk Mango and Maersk Tempo, to become one of the largest shipowners in Singapore today, owning more than 70 vessels under the Singapore flag.

The company's owned fleet has an average age of 5 years and comprises container ships and a wide range of tankers including Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), Product Tankers, Chemical Tankers, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Carriers and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Carriers.
